Winter 20-21

The album is practically done. Just waiting on a couple additional vocals then on to final mixes and mastering. All of my vocals are done. The features are done. I’m really feeling good about this album. It’s the 1st real focused body of work I’ve released in years. All songs were written and recorded between 2019 & 2020.

Why the winter ? I can’t answer that question without spoiling what I have in store for you. I can say this, this will be an album that you can play anywhere; the radio, poetry/more vibe oriented environments and in the whip riding through the hood. One thing I wanted to continue with was variety. “Patience” had a lot of different sounds and vibes. This time around, I wanted to keep having an array of vibes but have a more cohesive feel to it, sonically speaking.

“Patience” didn’t really have any visuals attached to it (outside of Solo Dolo’s video and the visualizers dropped upon release). I will definitely have more visuals for this album. It’s something that can’t just be experienced through audio, it needs to be seen. I aim to create a world (or a neighborhood so speak *wink*) that people can invest time into and potentially shift perspectives on everyday life.
